What makes you want to climb Everest and/or Cho Oyu?
Climbing Everest has been a life long dream of mine.
What skills will you bring to the team?
I'll be helping to coordinate many of the logistics for the expedition as well as many of the build-up climbs and hopefully won't stuff up anything important! On the mountain, hopefully my past experience, training/fitness and perseverance will help us overcome some of the challenges we're sure to face.
What motivates or inspires you generally?
I'm inspired by great personal challenges that push us to better our own limits.
What do you think will be the hardest part of climbing Everest / Cho Oyu?
Fundraising for the expedition will be a major challenge.
What do you think you will miss the most during the 10 weeks on Everest (or six weeks on Cho Oyu)?
My wife Sarah and our son Spencer, who will be about 2 ½ when we go to Everest.
Greg is also sponsored by Investec, Anglo Coal, Anglo Platinum and Dr Harold Serebro.
